The crushed velvet squares and blue and brown are so hot together this fall!<br /><br />I don't have much of this fabric so the bag won't last long. I'm intent on renting it. I just finished the first book in the series. It was okay, I mean I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan and twilight is in no way Harry Potter.<br /><br />As far as I can tell, Twilight is written mostly for teenage girls with rampaging hormones and a taste for bad buys that are really good boys. In my opinion, Harry Potter, appeals to a much wider audience.<br /><br />Still, I'm looking forward to the movie. Turns out, she was stolen 2 years ago from a pet store in Delaware. Now, she is at the Portsmouth animal shelter awaiting adoption since the pet store no longer wants a two-year-old dog.<br /><br />Apparently, masses of people were waiting yesterday morning to adopt the dog and screaming at the staff when told she was not yet ready for adoption.<br /><br />Now, I have a Boston Terrier--that was adopted form a local shelter. She is totally cute and the craziest, bossiest, funniest girl around. I can't imagine living with out her. Still, all these people foaming at the mouth to adopt one little dog? AND angry when they can't adopt her right now? What the heck--it is an ANIMAL SHELTER!!! When was it...Saturday.<br /><br />First, It was $20.00. <span style="font-weight: bold;">$20.00!</span> OMG! When did tickets get to be $10 a piece? I guess the last movie we saw was American Gangster and I don't remember that being 10 damn dollars a piece!<br /><br />My husband declared it the stupidest thing he's ever spent $20.00 on.<br /><br />Did I like it or not like it?<br /><br /><span style="font-style: italic;">Spoilers below so beware!</span><br /><br />I laughed in a few places. Ford looks older...duh. But he was still great. And I liked Shia (sp?) as his new sidekick.<br /><br />I LOVED Cate Blanchett. She was great.<br /><br />I wasn't too keen on the Alien thing.<br /><br />The ants gave me nightmares.<br /><br />And I loved loved loved that Marion and Indy got Married.<br /><br />It was not at all what I expected. I thought it would be more corny and slapstick-y. It WAS corny and slapstick-y but not as much as I expected.
